Hey guys new to the forum here. i have a 2012 wrx has about 2500 miles on her. i just purchased the cobb ap and dp. after doing all kinds of research ive come to understand that to get a protune on a dyno you have to wait for guys from ams to swing through the island is that true? if thats the case is it recommended to still run the dp with just the maps from the ap. any info would be greatly appreciated thanks.

 

True. But your in luck as a PDX one is very soon. Find the thread. Rocking the cobb OTS tune is fine just follow the requirements for each map or stage. Stg 1 is good till ya get a cobb intake and maybe cutback. Then stg 2.
There is a local tuner at Streamline Performance. He is apparently putting down decent safe tunes. They are road tunes so tailors to your car and Hawaii environment. I think if you pay te dyno fee he will do a tune on it.

hey thanks for the info much appreciated. parts arent supposed to get here until the 25th so i suppose ill just run the ots map from cobb. see how she feels and judge from there.
