I have a RA gear kit coming in the mail, and I need a trust worthy shop to do the install on my 02 wrx. I need some good recommendations of a shop here on island that would do the job correctly. I know there’re a lot of people on this site that know their stuff, and I value your opinions. Thanks in advance for the input!

He bought it from Rallispec. $1675 shipped. Vakamon quoted him $500 to install them, that includes him pulling the tranny and bringing it to them.

 

go to R&D (formerly vakamon).. they had to fix my RA tranny that someone else put together.

 

yup ryan did my RA gears. i got my gears from rallispec.com (i would highly get it from them) and have ryan install them at R&D.

 

okay so was around $500 to install ra gears, you said pullin the tranny n bringing it to them ??...

 

around 1000 if you bring the whole car, ive done two sets already, good fun. usually its a 1 day job, but we no longer have access to a shop's press we used to use (pacific automotive), so it may take lil more time.

and yea, i'm going to pull it myself (with bugeyemilo and RallyGC's help!) because i have some other work that I'm doing while vok works on the gears.
