While messing around with my car, I think I fried my radio. Does anyone have a stock 02 WRX head unit laying around? I imagine there has to be quite a few members with after market stereos. Thanks in advance.

Did you change the fuse and try it again?

 

yeah I changed the fuse. I was trying to wire and amp and maybe miss wired the remote turnon power. I am not really sure why my HU is fried, but I have some theories. I am going to try some things when I get off work. I am pretty sure mine is shot, and I don't really want to "borrow" one and fry that too. I may just be stuck getting an aftermarket one, but I really like the stock one for some reason. So I am more in the market to buy a stock head unit. Hopefully I can figure out the problem or I may have to take it in. Any stereo gurus? I could really use a hand. I hate wiring. There's devils in dem wires!

 

If u want i have a conector thingy so u can hook up an amp to the stock stereo let me know i'll give it to u for 5 bucks and help u put it in i'll bring my stocker to show u how it goes if u want. let me know.
