Need someone to get me smart on Data logging
as the title says preferably someone on Oahu locally. I have an AP OBDII connector cable so I guess all I need now is the software to do it. Basically I need someone to help me run a data log so I can send it to my tuner. I am suspecting that my car is pinging but I dont know for sure but at the same time I have not throwin a CEL.

yes..
you just need to download the free program and install it on a laptop that either has a serial port you can plug the AP cord into...or get a compatible serial to USB converter if your laptop does not have a serial port. This is assuming that you have the AP Version 1. If you have the Version 2, it already has a USB cord.
If you have the version 1 AP, the serial to USB converter is a bit touchy...contact Ojichan STI to find out which one he bought...the first one he tried didn't work...the second one did...
The other problem with data logging is where to do it safely...you will need two people to do it safely and accurately...just be careful and stay out of trouble...
Using a dyno is the safer way...

well with enginuity you activate it through your AC switch and the logging begins. basically just drive how you want to have your car tuned (aggressively or conservatively) and the logs will show all of that. your tuner would know what's going on and will be able to see WOT and PT and other things such as injector duty...etc. You'll need to enable the options you want to log but enginuity is free

here is a mirror to enginuity: http://www.ken-gilbert.com/wrx/enginuity/
iF you don't have a tactrix cable you'll need one but other than that you're ok. If you have AP then you'll need to have Street tuner to log
