need some iclub help!

so I recently moved back mainland from oahu(to socal) and there aren't many suby enthusiasts out here, and I don't know a whole lot myself, but hopefully someone can help me.

I was stopped at a light and noticed smoke coming up from my hood scoop so i immediately pulled into a parking lot and checked under the hood, and couldn't pinpoint where the smoke was coming from. here's a picture though.

thats taken standing right in front of the front right wheel and the circled area is where it looked like the smoke was coming from. it also smelled a bit like burning rubber if that helps.

the engine is pretty much stock too.

and like i said, there was no smoke or steam trail back to whatever seems to be burning or leaking so i have no idea

The turbo os going possibly? I had the same issue with a car that I was looking at before, it looked like the smoke was coming from the area that the turbo is sitting.

Check your fluids, I had a powersteering leak at once and had the same symptoms.

Edit: also, what are your mods?

I had a torn CV boot on that side spraying grease allover the downpipe causing some smoke for me from that area recently, if the oil feed line isnt it, check that too.
