Need to find a ground

Does anyone know where the ground points are for the gauges and headlights? Perhaps the Ignition switch too (I think it's on the steering column). I gotta check those because of my car's little "problem".

The problem is that the Gauges and Headlights don't work when I turn on my car. My uncle said that it is most likely a grounding problem and that's the only thing that a whole bunch of i-clubbers haven't checked. Something is basically screwing up the circuits that allow these to get the signal from the ignition switch that tells them "hey, it's time to turn on".

ANY HELP is more than appreciated and I'll be working on it all day at my home on ward if anyone wants to come by and see a 230 pound chinese trying to contort himself under the dash
