I use the Motul RBF600 same as you,

(glad you had enough tonight) but the new Castrol SRF is supposed to be the new standard. Expensive, but the boiling point is way above normal stuff. Also, 17 X 8 is fine, but seeing as you can get the SSR in 17 X 8.5, I'd go with the extra width. Joey has the Ray's lugs, so let him be the guinea pig. I wouldn't use titanium for a strut brace. Titanium is in between steel and aluminum as far as stiffness and weight. Go with aluminum, it's stiffer and lighter. With the extra money, buy a Cusco lower arm. It makes more difference than a strut brace, because our cars don't see much (if any) benefit from a brace because our "tower" is basically part of the firewall. Trailing arms/lateral links are definately worthwhile. I'll give you my opinion on upgraded front sway bar links (Noltec) tomorrow. I would like to try the MRT brake bracket, but I'm wondering if a brake booster ($300) is more appropriate. I would have never thought of white wheels on a blue Subaru, but it looks good. Only thing that looks better is white wheels on a white car.

i think the sti has solid little metal bars instead of the typical wrx endlinks. they might be straight vertical pieces, so they shouldn't need to be changed? i gotta take a look again.

hey machV and melht, brakeworld just posted about the brembo 2 piece rotors!! damn, looks to be a grand for a set of 4. think i'll wait for the stoptech price first. the brembos seem to be drilled and the stoptechs seem to be slotted. any info if this 2 piece rotor is allowed in stock class? b

You can get the brembos slotted.

But, yeah, I'm going to wait for the Stoptech price also.

Wow. I've been trying to convince myself to get an STi because I'd be "satisfied" and would stop spending money on modifications. I guess there's no respite from our terrible modification addiction - even with a factory hot rod, eh?

Mod on, Brahs!

hey wes, they are perfect. but i think the lack of center caps held me back from going really fast. something about aerodynamics affecting my steering and the pitching of the car due to the harness bar and yaw from the v700s. haha.

they are perfect for my purposes. thanks for the deal.b

Looks like the 6 piece lateral link set (with Cusco adjustable sway bar) may not be the way to go:
