I think some Work Emotions would be badass with the Chargespeed V1.

My comments. My path is similiar, but resource will hold me back.

1) Brakes

a. Pads - Ferodo 2500's -> Went with the Carbotech Pad, will swap with my stockers are closer to end of life
b. MRT brake braket -> Heard this is a good inexpensive mod, may have to add to my list
c. Fluid - Motul RBF 600 -> Same
d. Goodridge lines -> Same
e. Slotted rotors -> When I have to replace my stockers

2) Suspension

a. STi Springs -> Same
b. STi Lateral links -> Same, though I may go with the 6 piece set
c. STi Trailling arms -> Same
d. STi Ti Strut bar - front -> Have mixed feelings and not sure if i see the return on value. The firewall already provides a lot of support.
e. STi Strut bar - rear -> Again not sure if I see the return on value

3) Wheels and Tires

a. 17X8 TE-37's White -> Will buy a second set of Rota (SDR) for AutoX
b. BFG KDW's -> S03 for street and V700s for AutoX
c. Rays Lug nutz <----If they don't suck.

4) Power

a. P.D.E Down-pipe -> Will go with a turboback designed for the STi. My goal is big HP increase with the least amount of added noise. I really liked my Vishnu turboback even though it was pricey.

b. ? -> Engine Management (Xede, etc..) My power upgrades are pretty far down the road, so I'll decide later.

5) Miscellaneous

a. CUSCO Intercooler sprayer controller -> Will see how your setup goes, but this sounds interesting.
b. Hyperground System -> A nice feel good mod, but not on the top of my list.
c. ? -> Gauges? You know what I have, it's a personal perference thing.

Sounds like a good plan for Stage 1

Just say no to the White TE-37's. I heard they suck on blue.

I don't want you biting off me any more.

I don't want you to be my twin.

Good post. I'm trying to learn more and more about all the different mods that you can do. I have 04 STi. Below is what I'm looking into doing early next year...need to save up some money and persuade the wifey.

Exhaust:
Turbo back exhaust system w/ Ti Tip
Blitz SUS (or something similiar)

Suspension:
Front end lower springs. Not sure which brand.
Front/Rear strut bars

Interior:
In-dash mounted screen w/ DVD
Defi-Link Control System w/ Display and Boost/EHT gauges on the two gauge pilar pod
Change all interior lightning to red

Wheels/Tires:
Not sure on this...not in the racing bit as of yet so going to hold off.

Computers:
This is much later in the future. Going to complete the above before adding boost controller and such.

I thought these didnt fit the STI? Are they making ones that will fit? That would be very cool....and so much better when it comes to washing

I'm still looking forward to see how your suspension work goes....hurry up so you can help with my decision making!!
