spent today changing out my radiator and some other miscellaneous stuff on the M3...as some of you already know, my radiator neck cracked on my first run at last months auto-x...so in went in an all aluminum unit...changed the belts while we were in there too...

yup, finally got rid of my ricer wing...bought a trunk from someone who had the same color M3...first pic is of my trunk (with wing) in the living room...gotta make some room to store it...next pic is of the new trunk...it looks so plain now...looks so different after having the wing on for 7 years...and yes, the new trunk is just dirty...gonna wash/rejex the car later this week...

 

Well its about time. How many years have we been talking about this? I really like the way it looks. Now what about the damn clutch? How many more years are we gonna talk about this? lol..

Your car had a looooong way to go before it looked like rice. It didn't even look like sauerkraut.

 

thanx pat...but that wing was starting to look kinda stupid...it was cool when i got it back in 97, when no one else had it...it did make the car more stable when going 100+ though...

 

I obviously don't have that car and there really aren't many around here (I've seen one on the street and about 2 in the 'Trader' papers.) In my book, it would take quite a bit more than that for the car to be in bad taste.

 

Looks great w/o the wing IMHO. Great job.
