my headlights are being weird... help

OK, so I recently got my car back from having some engine work done at Leaf Racing. Almost immediately one of my coil packs came unplugged and because of work taking up all my time it took me about a month to figure out what was wrong and now that I am driving it again I noticed I can no longer turn off my headlights. Whenever the parking brake is disengaged the lights automatically turn on and I cant turn them off again unless I apply the parking brake. This was never the case before I got this work done and since I have HID's it is starting to aggravate the gate guards on base. Does anyone know of a reason this could have happened? Or know of a way to fix it? I had a boost gauge and a wideband O2 installed, could some wires have gotten crossed or something? I am pretty much helpless when it comes to electrical issues so any help is appreciated, thanks.

I don't see why they would have touched anything to do with your headlights..

check the parking light switch on behind the steering wheel, sometimes that gets clicked on and it makes the headlights behave strange.

It it is supposed to do that. You can easily install a switch to turn it on and off. You have some blank switch inserts on your center console. You could install a flat toggle. There is a pushbutton switch under your parking brake lever that is normally open. The circuit closes when you lift the parking brake lever. Wire the switch in series with the existing circuit. This way, you can break the circuit and put your self in control. Control is power, and power is what attracts the vajarna.
