vasectomies are cool.
I'd take pics but I'll spare y'all from the inferiority complex.

Well, it's cool in that it's a new and unique experience, AND after we're all certain that it's took, I can take it off of the traverse and elevation mechanism and FREE GUN for the rest of my life.
note: traverse and elevation mechanism (T&E) is a gadget the hooks up to the tripod and machine gun that restricts the gun's orientation to a specific azimuth and elevation. NOT using the T&E is a lot more fun.
Pain: I'd say that even though it's a part of your body that is much more sensitive than the rest, it essentially is just a bruise. Because it's your nuts, your tendency is to be much more careful than normal, but it doesn't really hurt that bad. The drugs they gave me are perfect.

Believe it or not, I'm pretty much good to go, now. The drugs up until now worked great. I stopped taking them and the boys haven't been complaining.
Thanks

This thread reminds me of that AC DC song.
I'm upper, upper class high society
God's gift to ballroom notoriety
And I always fill my ballroom
The event is never small
All the social papers say I've got the biggest ***** of all
CHORUS
I've got big *****
I've got big *****
And they're such big *****
Dirty big *****
And he's got big *****,
And she's got big *****,
But we've got the biggest ***** of them all!....

I failed to add that they're black & blue as well.
I'm not saying anything, but I bet if your ***** were as big and black and blue as pickled church bells, you'd be ringing another story.

A friend of mine just got snipped a couple of weeks ago. He said after 1 day of being sidelined he was up and about around the house doing chores, mowing the lawn, etc.
He said that the doc let him WATCH the procedure. He even pulled out the "tube" and had my friend watch the cut take place, the cauterization, the folding and the suturing before the junk was stuffed back into his body.
*shudder*
He didn't opt to watch the second side get done.
You didn't get Dr. Sadisto like my buddy did - did you, Pat? ;p

Nah. I also developed a hydracele(sp) when I was over in AFG. All it is, I guess, is you wake up one day, scratch your ******* and realize that one of your ***** is HUGE. Doc's did a sonigram and told me it was completely normal and really very common and there was no cancer. They said that I was actually completely safe if I wanted to just let it go.
I figured that when I got snipped that I'd go ahead and take care of the hydracele as well, so due to it being more or less a dual surgery, they knocked me out.
Immediately following the surgery, I had my Dad take me over to my recruiting station to see how they were doing. I was standing around bs'ing with them for about an hour. Even walked a couple of doors down to Starbucks and bought them some coffee. My Dad had to pretty much remind me that I needed to get off of my feet.
It's only like a 3/4" incision. Not really that big a deal, and it really is more uncomfortable than anything.
