where in honolulu are you? and are you renting a car?

if you have a rental, take a ride through waikiki. when your car gets here, you most likely won't be able to drive it through waikiki without getting a ticket.

 

I am staying in Manoa. I dont have a car anymore but I cant wait to have mine here. Why would I get a ticket if I drove my car thru waikiki? That sucks if cops are that **** here.

If you have a loud aftermarket exhaust, they'll pull you over...

 

or if you have tint

or if your car looks 'too lowered'

or if they just wanna rack up the quota with recon tickets

or if you're breathing...

but mainly only in waikiki

you don't NEED to go to have your car inspected by Recon(or FOR Recon)...until you get stopped for something like exhaust or whatnot. if you can pass recon, i would go for it.

what mods do you have on your car?

otherwise, try Jiffy Lube by University. or you can go to one of the garages in Kalihi(by Waikamilo)

 

I have a perrin DP, and Espelir GT 500 exhaust.

 

since hawaii doesn't regulate emissions, you should pass inspection no problem. if you lowered your car, you'd possibly have a problem.

just go to Jiffy Lube by University and Berritannia(by the burger king). you should pass no prob
