Moving to HI on tuesday

Like the tittle states I will be moving there in tuesday. My 02 WRX is already on the way. I hope it gets there safely and in one piece. It will be a little different than living here in washington DC area but I am sure I will have a blast there. Hope to meet some of you.

I sent my car with all american auto transports but i think matson is the company taking it to HI. Is that good or bad?

IIRC, I think we've got 2 people (NISMOFLIP and MARKO) who drive their cars from the dock to their owners.

yowser...keep an eye on them by calling to check up on your car. i used them to ship my car from NYC to HI and they sucked. if they're still running the same, they'll use Horizon Lines to ship the car overseas once it gets to Oakland.

pretty much, after they trucked my car cross country, the truck driver just dropped my car off in Oakland(not the best place) without the keys, paperwork, or anything saying where the car had to be delivered. the only way they found out it was my car is because NY cars have their registration in the windshield. they called NYC DMV, found my last addresses listed, and talked to my dad. in all, it took about a month and a half to finally get my car.

check Horizon Lines site, get their #, and give them a call to tell them your car is coming.(they're closed on the weekends)

Horizon lines = good
