Any one know if there's a good metal shop on island? I've got an idea for a flush scoop hood for my sti. I'm just trying to find a place I can try and get it made if I go through with it. I'm still drawing it up right now but it should provide more forceful cooling to the IC by moving the vent more towards the front of the car. I'm not an aeronautical engineer idea should work in theory by channeling the air flow from the front of the car. The look om going for is something like the hood on the 08+sti. The reason I'd like to try this is because it would be unique and cheaper than a front mount and a new hood... I hope.

they made center caps for my old truck...not the cheapest though. aluminum caps/powdercoat/design was 75 each.
