Anyone have any opinions on the Sony Mini-DV digital Handycam on sale at Sears? It's going for $499.99. I don't know a lick about cams (and cars), and i also don't have the time for full research (since the baby is on the way -- about 7 weeks left)... and i'm on dial-up!

Jus looking for something that can do video and pics (with a flash, too) and will spend up to $900.

I jus heard to stay away from Hi-8... and the dvd cams take long to burn..

ps. Roadrunner or Verizon dsl ?? ---i'm leaning towards RR since i don't wanna get a separate isp needed for dsl (or something like that?)

 

get a dvd cam those are so much more worth it
