Mild cam and computer response..
I did a search on this and I couldn't find anything since the newly re-formatted site is...new.
Are people with mild aftermarket cams experiencing high idle or anything abnormal with the stock ECU?
Thanks Max

Nope. With STi engine and tranny mounts I get a little bit of a stumble sometimes but nothing you wouldn't expect from cams. As for a high idle, only when cold and that's just part of the warm up process. BTW, at operating temp I'm at 500-700 RPM idle.

Shouldn't matter as long as the cams are designed for your specific head. If you're having a high idle; check that the TB is sealed well to the intake manifold, check freeplay on your throttle cables, IAC is clear of debris, and (of course) reset the ECU.
