Hehehe! Thanks for the compliments. The brand is Crucial Racing System. It's not a big brand but their stuff is top notch. www.crucialracing.com

I'm waiting for them to restock the up pipe again, it's made out from 321 Steel and coated also.

Anyone knows where I can make a midpipe since my downpipe is a shorty?

AWESOME!!!

that looks like a replica of the stromung pipe (the one that I have) except yours in ceramic coated... that is 1 of 2 pieces for the downpipe...

you don't just need a "Mid-Pipe" you need the second half of the downpipe before you get a mid pipe...

if you want to get the second piece that will POSSIBLY fit onto the first piece you should talk to BRIAN from Flash N Dash Performance here is the thread: https://www.i-club.com/forums/showth...8&page=1&pp=20

tell 'em Jon from Hawaii sent you and he might be able to hook you up!

Jon

Our pipe is similar to the Stromung, but there are some very important differences. Here's the description of our pipe:

"The Crucial Racing Systems downpipe is manufactured to the highest standards using 100% 304 stainless for the pipes AND flanges, ensuring perfect fitment. This 3” pipe will bolt to your stock catalytic converter. It features a divorced wastegate and the wastegate tube is extended to just next to the bottom of the main exhaust pipe to minimize turbulence in exhaust gas flow.

The pipes and flanges are coated with the highest quality metallic-ceramic thermal protective barrier available today (2000 F is its rating and at 2400 F the coating still retains its integrity) to keep under-hood temperatures noticeably lower and maintain higher exhaust gas velocity. Extreme care is taken during the coating application process to ensure that the coating is applied consistently and will never fail."

Without naming ANY other manufacturer, especially Stromung, DPs are often made with "stainless steel pipe" but the grade is not mentioned and the material used for the flanges frequently is not mentioned. That's why we offer a lifetime guarantee.

As far as the midpipe goes, we have one in development now. But any midpipe that bolts up to the stock DP will work.

Ok... Thanks for your input.

well it doesn't look like he'll need an mid pipe upgrade until he takes care of the secondary downpipe problem first. Do you make a secondary downpipe or will he need to get one from STROMUNG?

Perhaps I was misunderstood. Crucial calls the "secondary downpipe", which is really the third cat, the midpipe. It's not a problem. Several manufacturers produce racepipes and third cat pipes and any one of them should bolt up. Since the Crucial DP is 3", I'd look for a 3" pipe unless you can wait a couple of weeks for our pipe to come out.

The midpipe is a bit problematic to produce because a lot of guys bolt up a cat-back and almost all of them have a unique flange. I'm sure you've noticed more than a few posts where cat backs leak. We're trying to solve that problem.
