Little Help...

For Starters I did use the seach feature, but to no avail...
I just have a couple of questions... I am coming up on 30K and want to change all my fluids...plus I am installing SS brake Lines and Doing an oil change.. what are the types and capacities of the following ... or where can I find the info for my almost bone stock 05' STI.

Engine Oil: I have been runnign royal purple.. but open to suggestions
Gear Oil:
Brake Fluid... adding SS brake lines and Crossdrilled and Slotted DBA's
Tranny?

if you've been changing your oil regularly then you should already know it's capacity how much have you been putting in?

Engine: 4.8 US QT
6MT Transmission/Front Differential: 4.3 US QT - There are 2 drain holes on the bottom of the transmission
Brake Fluid: you'll need to bleed the brake system if you are installing SS lines. there is no set capacity. If you don't know what you're doing with brakes then don't do it since YOU WILL DIE.
Rear Differential: 1.2 US QT

There are other sections than HIIC that this information has this information for future reference

Up to this point I have just had Suby Dealership do it... for the warranty.. but now thats over.. I've done all these jobs including the SS lines on other vehicles before... I just didn't know the values.... Thanks for the Help... what type of engine oil are you using? I have been hearing negative comments on Royal Purple

i used the purple for engine, tranny and diff in my 03 wrx. it was great, even got a slight increase in mileage. what kind of negative comments are you hearing?

Nothing specific... just that they are not the best... I am hearing Castrol Syntec... I think I am gonna stick with RP though... I have had no problem that I can see
