Light Beam Alignment

Ok the lights I'm going to install have manual leveling or via a switch... I'll have the switch when I install these lights.

Do I need to manually set the lights before the switch will work? or will it automatically go back to "Home-Position" since I've got the leveling switch?

here is the picture of the left side compared to the right side. I'm assuming the red dot signifies where the light is actually pointed at. Do I need to make sure the left and the right side look the same?

Jon
