I just saw one today. I was trippin' out on the taillights. I thought they were aftermarket, but they are new for 09'. integrated backup camera too.. apparently the camera is in the tailgate handle. Chalk one up for safety!

But I 'ono about the taillights.. It seems a bit tacky for an OEM taillight, almost aftermarket looking.

ford has the cameras as well on some of their 08 MY f150s...and the reverse camera shows up on your rear view mirror

 

Hey, that's pretty neat. I guess Toyota had to follow suit?

I think I need to take a better look around during the next First Hawaiian Auto Show, because technology is becoming a blur.

 

yes the 09 toyota tacomas have rear view camera mounted in the tail gate handle, the rear view mirror has a small screen that turns on when put in reverse. the picture is pretty darn clear! finally factories follow aftermarket. the new colors for the tacomas are nice too...smoked headlamp are cool too! the painted the grill piece too! not flat black any more

hopefully there will be a lot less damages to cars like ours that have the hood at the same level..

seen a bunch of them by matson, yea the tailights really stand out... kinda ugly to me.. i was like wth?? when i saw a bunch o funny looking tail lights staring at me.

 

My sister and brother-in-law picked one up a few weeks ago...pretty nice.

 

I can't wait until that is offered on all cars, it can help all of us with those short poles in parking lots.....

 

lol funny thing is people still buy reverse sensors even if they have reverse cameras such as pirus...lol
