aloha hobbies at 99 range has to be the cheapest ive been too.

id suggest you get a truck, that way you can bash it around and go where ever you want. when you got more money and experience, try a car for speed. an on road car can also get boring... either way its gonna be expensive.

****, i got a tamiya tnx like a week and a half ago. pretty mean, i already stripped one spur gear from jumping it around in the park at kunia haha. nice find on that tc3, you're gonna love it, yet hate it.... if you have a powerfull engine in there, you will be constantly buying tires and gluing them. easiest way would be to buy foam tires, but they are more expensive and wear out way faster. if you dont have enough running space, you will constantly break parts. ALSO run the car with a body. when you flip your tc3 with no body, the shock tower will probably break, ive gone through two. my tc3 flies with the o.s .18 cvr motor which is a 100 bux.

some people at costco have some crazy fast cars, you would have to see it in person. ive been to costco once, and i may go again on friday night or something...

I've been doing it for a little while as well as iNfEk, 808_STi, myroncuz, scubaru, and shaggadelic, among others. RC drifting is pretty fun! Although some of us haven't done it for a while, I'm getting back into it again, hoping to spread the joy on Kauai.
