Before my tune, the stage 2 OTS map was ehh.. Ok

Then after my tune with AMS on a stage 3 with EWG, I noticed a huge increase and better drive ability as well as gas mileage being better.

You get what you pay for, and spending the $500 for someone to actually sit in your car and tweak it means a lot more then taking a map that "works" and thinking everything is ok

Cobb has map for that turbo but it is setup for 565cc injector and their intake. Maybe look into their vf39 fuel economy map. Low boost and adjusted timing. The EBCS from my understanding requires a tune immediately so what I did was got to rads early and installed it.

yea I read about the ebcs needing immediate tunning... so that can be a last minute install... should only take 10-15 mins to run that... sheesh I may need to host a install day to or something haha turbo, up pipe, and injectors... thats a long days work!

If you're going to tune, get some injectors and a Fuel pump.

get some STi pinks and a Walbro Fuel pump........no sense in going bigger than that. as for your GS ebcs, that and all your parts you plan to put in....any tuner can send you a start up rom. key thing is not to boost on it.......

but hey what do I know, I drive a 2001 Impreza that never came in a turbo model

I've got my walbro fuel pump sitting on the side... the only reason I wanted to go with bigger injectors is to provide room for future upgrades later down the road... I would go with STi pinks, if I could find a gently used set that was at least stored properly after being taken off...
