is it that one thing that advances timing when either knock or detnation is detected im glad someone asked about it because i forgot all about by the time i got home on sunday

the J & S Ultra Safeguard will retard timing for the appropriate cylinder (which ever is "knocking").
There are plenty other 'ignition retard' devices, but none that are as sweet as the J&S (IMO).
Simply put, others retard ignition in all the cylinders when knock is detected, causing a more significant loss in power, the J&S will retard timing for just the cylinder that needs it, of course 'saving' you from 'losing' more power when knock occurs.

I'm saying things correctly, folks just aren't listening to what I'm saying. I guess I'll just keep to myself. If anyone needs me I'll be at the HIIC game thread, becuz I am the pileup GOD. Can't seem to pass level 13.
