Hey Justin...

just got off the phone with Roel...

Found out he has a CF radiator shroud....it's probably the culprit adding some thickness around that area...I know my Cwest grill has around the same thickness of material that sits between the hood and radiator...and I really have to press down to make the hood click...dropping the hood does not latch it at all...

He's out and about right now but hopefully that is the problem...good luck today man.

Brent

went down there and the problem seems to be the latch. the hood closes but the latch just won't close. roel went to homedept to get some washers to use as spacers to seat the latch a little lower and hopefully that works out.

And Justins idea worked!!! My hood is finally closed its flush on the right side but a small space on the left. I had to use 3 washers each bolt to extend it further down for it to catch and finally lock. 2 washers each were fine but it required to push down on the hood really hard to latch it. Thanks for the help Justin and all the feedback Brent. As promised to Justin here are the pics to my hood:

Beautiful hood Roel! Why does a lot of these aftermarket products have to fight you to get installed?, its worth it though.
