Need Help w/ installation Defi BF guages

I just recieved my defi bf guages (egt, boost, oil pressure, link control II). Does anyone know of any extra parrts I have to buy to complete the installation of the guages? Also I have the Defi guage pod that needs to be painted. Does anyone know a cheap place to get it painted?

Ask melht about the paint part. I think he knows the paint code, and did it on his own.

You'll want to take the pod apart first. After removing the screws you'll have 2 parts to paint. If you take your time and put on a few coats (let dry between coats) it should be a close match. It just won't have the dash texture.

I'm not familiar with the Defi gauges (mine are Omori), but with the Omori I had to order a different T connector for boost as the one that came with the gauges was the wrong size. For Oil Pressure it depends on what comes with the gauges and where you plan to tap (see the other thread on "where to get gauges installed"). For the EGT you'll need to decide where you plan to tap in. Mine is in the manifold where all four come together. It's welded in (probe screws out though), though you can probably drill and tap.

You'll need to crimp connect or solder the link control unit up for power.

I think that the signs point to this weekend. Where and when are all that's left to figure out.

How about Speedgear on Saturday.
