Just want to remind you guys, don't torque too much on the oil bolts when installing the turbo. It is a PITA if you break it; especially when you break the hard to reach bolts. I had to remove the turbo and up-pipe just to fit the drill into place to remove the broken bolt.
For after market turbos, make sure the oil lines and fittings fit prior installing.
Ease the fuel injectors in and out of the fuel rails. Make sure to lubricate the injectors (the o-rings easily break). Don't over tighten the bolts on the fuel rails; I learned the hard way.
If you plan on replacing your injectors, buy an extended oil vapor hose, so you can connect the the hose directly to the oil vapor opening. This way, you can discard the useless green brackets that block your stock rails.
Vent the pressure in your gas tank by opening your gas cap before removing/ installing the fuel pump.
And, don't get too anxious to start the car without refilling oil and coolant!
Learn from my many mistakes.

Chibby,
According to Sub, those green pieces o'shiet actually have a purpose. Those are used to lift the engine out if you have to replace the block.

Nice tips!
You could also do like we did on Wes' car and just dremel (well, he dremeled it - I would have just cut my finger off) the hard-pipe off of the bracket and use it to join the hoses. No $ and you still get to discard that bracket...
