I'm finally back in HI. So who's going to the auto-x tomorrow?

That was a fast, pretty fun course. I've never been in 3rd gear so much on an auto-x course. I think I may have topped 70mph on the front section, which is quite a feat in the N/A Legacy. Even after my last run there were a couple of spots that I know I could have been faster - the last slalom section just before the cross-over I could have been going faster, and the first half of the decreasing slalom after the first two triangles also could have been faster. I was downshifting to 2nd entering the slalom, but I think I should have carried 3rd through the first couple cones, then downshifted to 2nd, using that to help slow the car for the tighter finish of the slalom.
Anyway, it all worked out, with a narrow, narrow, narrow 0.004sec margin of victory in SM.

The track day is tomorrow with the SCCA guys. I am not sure how it works but I guess they use the rest of the wheel to wheel/Solo1 track time for open track events. I think that all the slots for the track day are taken up already though.

The times definitely point out that it was an "equalizer" course, which makes things fun. Another couple courses like that and you HP types will catch me.
