It'll be my first time ever to the Philippines. I wasn't excited until 5pm today when I finished all my corporate slave labor.

Two weeks there. Partying in Manila, Boracay, and visiting Corregador where my grandfather fought in WWII. Meeting relatives I've never met ever, but apparently they know me...I'm freakin excited!!!

I'll take pics and try to post while I'm there (beaches, scenery....girls lol). I have no idea what's out there, but have been told its hella hot and humid. I wonder if I'll come across any subys.

I'll see you folks on the other side of the world!

When I'm older I want to travel out there but I hear it's not too safe, but my skins pretty dark skinned so I guess I can fit in haha. Hope you have some fun over there I think it's like a 16 hour flight lol, PEACE

LOTS of car shops there (Banawe area in I think Quezon City is one of them) but not sure if you'll find much for the Suby. I don't think they have Subarus there,and if at all, maybe just a few.
Go visit the "massage parlors". =)
Show 'em your greencard and dollars and the girls will like you even more !
Don't forget to take pics of cars there. I know they're into the drag racing scene.

I'm actually going for a wedding. It's gonna be partying every night.

I'm bringing two books, my laptop, and my ipod with over 4,000 songs. I'm sure the batteries will die on me long before i reach the halfway point of the trip.

 

Ummmm Don't forget to carry a lot of cash haha there's going to expect you to treat them to lunch and dinner and get them clothes from BENCH and Shoe Mart. Don't wear any expensive items because they're gonna want it too. Bring a bunch of clothes you don't want in your balikbayan boxes and spam and corned beef... they love that there. hehe. ummm.. yeah, try not to look too blingy either when you're out because people might try to kidnap you or mug u if they know you're not from around there. Ooh. and bring mosquito repellent too. other than that.. have a safe and fun trip! when you said motherland, I thought you meant Africa haha.

ryan youre gonna have a good time. going back to see your relatives and culture and all that good stuff is really fun and you learn alot about everything. so take it all in! oh you could have those gauges too i dont want em anymore haha.

 

Dude, they are more excited than you are because you're a U.S. citizen and they probably think you'll sponsor them .
