It has my old 18g turbo in there from my original STI...now...trying to narrow down a turbo to upgrade to...the 18g will be plenty fun though...

yeah, it's really good to be back into the saddle again...although I have a slew of CEL's to look into...haven't driven it much...it needs a tune.

The kids and I have been cleaning the car up...the engine bay is getting there as well as the interior...I'm going to have to go and visit Dent Doctors soon to get a few minor dings out...maybe do some paint.

Yeah...ever since I sold my 04 STI that I built from ground up and sold...(felt physically sick for a week, no joke)...I've been going through cars left and right...After I bought the Evo and drove it around for a bit, I realized I really wanted to get back into a Subaru...but to find a suitable replacement for my 04 proved to be really difficult...

Here is what I've been going through over the past two years...(I think)

2003-2009 04 WRX STI...longest stretch that I've owned a car...went to a good home...out of state, thank goodness...Best car hands down that I have ever owned...

2006 EVO MR/SE...nice, but not me. It was too nice, not a single scratch or dent in it...I was afraid to even take it shopping...It made me a stress case...sold to some lawyers.

1996 Integra GSR...fun, but not me. These cars like to rev and handle very well...bit small when you have a 11yo and 14yo.

2005 Subaru WRX STI...too expensive to keep...bad timing due to kids school tuition (damn private school tuition)...I was really sorry to sell this car and thought I would never find another replacement (this car was built right with great components)...Perfect power...went to a good home.

1990 Honda Prelude 2.0si...nice, but too slow...also no air bags...was suppose to be my son's car in a few years but without the proper safety precautions, it had to go.

2000 Toyota Solara...bought as my DD until I found my replacement...lasted a whole day when the deal with the WRX materialized and finalized....sold it within 2 days...it was a solid car.

2006 Subaru WRX Limited (Finally found my replacement)...as mentioned, I've been cleaning up the engine bay and discovering little things here and there that have kept me busy during my spare time (keeps me out of trouble)...currently I need to replace the silicone hose that connects the APS Hard Inlet Pipe to the Turbo...then to start attacking the CELS...probably getting together with Dan (Ojichan STI) to pull the codes using his AP.

Phew...I guess I've been through a lot since selling my 04...glad it is over...now, I can attend cruises again...
