No rotary all the way! You're smart pat, so you can be a rotary expert also. You could do drift sessions, and track meets with the rx-7! It would be a beast!

You might change you mind, but either way go with the RX-7!

Looks good. Handles well. Drives fast. But the engine intimidates me.

I dont' want to have to rely on anyone again to do work on my car, which is what I'd have to do if I had a rotary.

Man Pat you have to go for the non-conventional engines: rotary and boxer! Screw some run for the mill straight inline or v set-up! You can buy the aftermarket manuals for the RX-7, and you'll be good to go!

Straight 6. Can you imagine being able to pop the valve covers off in minutes and be able to swap out the cam, change your compression, check the pistons... without even so much as a bruised knuckle.

Man, y'all with the Xbox just make me jealous. Isn't McRae '05 available on PS2? I'm playing Auto Modelista right now. It's not too bad a game. Not much for reality, but it keeps me occupied.

Dan, thanks. But wouldn't it be just too cool? Remember that vid I posted a long time ago with that guy in a BMW in like Denmark, and his straight cut gears wind so high, it hurt your ears? I wish I had some cash.

I updated Kathy tonight on how my search is coming and what my future plans were for the beater. She said, 'we'll talk about it another time.' I can't win. I'm getting this beater so I'm not spending so much on the WRX, but I guess I must've misunderstood her intent from the beginning, huh?
