This is probably a very capable and functional car, but I don't think I'm too fond of it. Gimme the JUN.

 

That spoiler is a little excessive it is just ugly....

 

Guys, this car is not meant to be pretty. This is a Time Attack machine. Full dry carbon body. Remember the Altezza HKS built few years back?

 

Looks like a hell of a machine! I'm not a fan of the wing either, but I'm sure it plays a large role in keeping that thing pasted to the pavement when it get's to speed.

Love that Carbon Fiber!

 

I'd like to see how it does on 'Time Attack'.

I know and I'm pretty sure I'd tithe a couple of my unborn children to the CHURCH of UNBRIDLED HORSEPOWER to drive it. I just think if I were a race car driver, I don't believe I'd be too happy to have that as a ride. Harken back to when Jeff Gordon drove the rainbow car. Or some of the more infamous Can-Am cars with the 4 foot wing extenders.

It's like with the GT40, on the other hand. I know that it whooped up on Ferrari or whoever, so it's the total performance package; but it's appearance is like wet, grunty sex. It looks like what an ultra-high performance car is supposed to look like.

 

That thing is a HATCHET. A WRC car is a set of Cutco that never goes dull. The Ford GT40 is a REALLY REALLY sharp Bowie knife. An F1 car is a scalpel. They work and appear as such I think.

I remember reading an article about two JUN built, actually JUN or BOZZSPEED, one of the two. Anyway yeah two Japanese time attack cars. I think they had close to 600hp or so and they were just insane. It was a WRX (GC8) and an Evo 5 I think. Apparently even with AWD you could light up all the tires IN 3RD GEAR! Another remark in the article that "wowed" me was that they could only take about two hot laps before the tranny would start to smoke so when practicing/tuning they would cycle hot laps with cool down laps of the track. Those time attack cars are meant to be the fastest around the track one lap, they don't have to last any longer. Everything is lightweight first, durability/longevity isn't an issue. Yeah anyway those cars are insane...
