Because if she doesn't support this how can you expect her to support you in other NECCESSARY endeavors? This car is part of YOU and if she doesn't love it, then she doesn't love you. If she can't understand, then she should realign her priorities and get it right.

heh heh heh. Try it out.

Tell her you won't be able to perform your marital duty on your wedding night without a strong, beefy 2.5l, 6-speed, driver controlled differential beast in the driveway stoking your fire.

I was kidding. However, make sure she knows your priorities. My wife didn't discover my passion for cars until 3 years into our marriage. Poor girl is stuck with me now I got her knocked up, too. J/k

Truth

Number 1 issue that breaks up couples is MONEY! If thats not an issue tell her that owning a car like this is dream come true! And having her and this car would make you a happy camper! If she doesn't buy that tell her its the same reason she enjoys the wrx so much.

Ok, I guess I'll have to be the buzz-kill here...gdogg, my man, you need to get your priorities straight. Marriage is not to be taken lightly, nor is your wife-to-be. You know what you should do I'm sure. But isn't it fun pretending that you have a choice?

EDIT: But hey, if $$$ is not an issue here, go for it!

ouch

i kinda made this post as a joke...to give me some "kinda good reasons"... but what really sucks is that in the end it will probably just give me a reality check cuz....we're plannin to buy a house....so maybe... just maybe a 30,000 car might be on the backburner. we'll see how my finances "pan-out" in the the next month
