engine or suspension...
My first mods on the car were engine related...
Cobb Accessport, PDE catless downpipe...and a B&B catback
That should eat up your $1000 engine wise...
suspension wise...front and rear matching swaybars, endlinks, and Prodrive or comparable performance springs/alignment...I have the 22mm adj. rsb, but now they have bigger 24mm+ ones...
Shop smart and you can really maximize your buying power...

OK. I see I help me with the Short throw shifter.... Which one. I should get?
I don't want an adjustable one, because doesn't it loosen up after a while.

most here...
seem to go with the Kartboy...if you want a non-adjustable one. I'm running the STI Kartboy short shifter on mine with the front and rear shifter bushings...no problems at all...and very satisfied.
I've helped two people install Cobb adjustable short shifters with no problem as well...it's a shame that the shifter boot covers the shifter...it is a work of art...

Short throw shifter is not worth it in my opinion. I've had Kartboy and the optional OEM one and I argue that it slows down your shifts and makes it more likely to miss shifts. Missing a shift in Auto-X is pretty much a run killer.
