Sorry guys, but like everyone said, the track day has to be postponed. The HRP Farid was trying to get someone to run it in his absence, but the track said no way. I will get a real date for everyone in a few days. Thanks for being good sports.

 

Nate, as long as the new date falls sometime in March then don't worry about refunding my money on Paypal, as I'll be attending the new date. I'll be at sea almost all of April, so if it gets pushed back that far then I'll ask for the money back.

Glad I didn't pay because I took leave and now that it has changed I probably won't be able to attend unless it is a day off.

Any word on possible/probable dates? It would be nice to have a target date so I know when the Mustang needs to be ready for flogging.

Like I said before, why don't you guys go through Dave Shimokawa? If worse comes to worse, I can be there for the track event, I have no obligations, and won't bail out on my fellow WRX'ers, and neither will Dave. I'm there every day of the week anyways! ('Cuz I work with Tom Bryant, one of the other track day organizers, the owner of Race Events Hawaii, LLC) In fact, I dunno why they told you there weren't any openings, we've got one up for Saturday, March 5th from 7:30 to 5PM. Is that too soon? Or we could maybe work something out for the week...maybe this coming?

I asked Tom about it, and we didn't know anything about an upcoming Subaru Club track day. We need to know so we can update our Calendars to reflect it, you know what I mean? We're trying to make REH a great place for everyone just to find out what's going on when and where. No money involved...just as a public service for our motorsport enthusiasts!
