Just had to gloat a bit about taking 2nd place overall at the auto-x Sunday. I stuck around for the first part of the 3rd heat and figured that at least Ken van Orman would catch me - he had a cone on each of his first two runs, and would have been damn close if he had been clean. I left shortly thereafter and was pleasantly surprised to see the email from Curtis Sunday night. 
On a somewhat related note, where's Jay von Brimer? When I first got back from deployment at the end of last summer he was the man to beat in SM, but I don't think he's been to an event since October. This could be a big WTLW, I dunno...

PS - You SM guys can rest easy for the 2003 Run-offs. Since I was off defending our country's freedom for 6 months and missed a bunch of events, I don't have enough to qualify for the Run-offs.
I'll end up with only 5. No military service hook-up from Curtis. Oh well...
