I thought the WRC cars run the sequential transmissions, but the US rally team runs the STi standard 6speed, right?

For asphalt use, front brakes are 366mm ventilated discs with 6-pot water-cooled calipers

If you still have Feb 03 SCC laying around there is an article on Prodrive and how they prep the Subaru WRC cars. Some interesting notes:

15 of the six-speed sequential WRC gearboxes are built per season at a cost of $95K a pop. They are one of the only things not recycled for future WRC cars and after testing and rebuilding get tossed to the customer teams. The magnesium shell center diffs are built specifically for each rally's needs.
