I took the WRX off my trunk to color it red and now I want to put it back on. Anybody know what the best adhesive to use is? I have gorilla glue and this E6000 craft glue.

3M Emblem Tape. Gorilla Glue is a PITA if you ever need/want the emblem off again later, like for bodywork.

 

I have 3M double sided tape. Is different from Emblem Tape? The stuff I have seems fairly thick (1/8") and I wanted the letters to flush to the car.

 

Yes emblem tape is industry and application specific.

 

Can you find that at like O'reilly's or Autozone?

 

I've seen it at Wal-Mart

 

Went down to O'reilly's and they sold me some 3M Emblem Adhesive. It's like glue. I made it a tiny mess putting on the RX, but the W came out good. All in all it looks like a success in my book.
