Ok guys, I was driving this morning on liliha st and this japanese chick in a nice '06 accord drop and full lip kit was smiling at me after I was totally checking her out and didnt notice i drove over broken glass.So I pulled over to check my tires and no puncture by glass but my rear passenger got puntured by a nail, dont know how long already since I only started reverse parking a while ago(not being lazy now)...Just wondering for those who were driving around with a nail in there tire, how long were you guys driving with the nail in your tire???

I've gone a few days with a screw in my tire. When I pulled the sucka out, it left a pretty nice hole, allowing all the air to rush out pretty quickly. Good thing I always keep a patch kit in my car. This reminds me, the oddest thing I've every got stuck into my tire was a friggin pen. Idk how that even got in there, ha ha.

 

just get it patched should be like 10-20... my mom ran around with one for a week dont take it out tho keep it in

 

Kit costs <$10 and should give you enough patches for about 5 or 6 punctures. It's basically what shops do when you take your car in to get patched as long as the puncture is not too close to the sidewalls.

 

Thanks josh and spec jay...I was going to pick up the patch thingy but since i bought my tires at gemini/goodyear, I still got warranty on it so Ill take it down first...

i've drag raced with nails in my tire. You ain't doing anything but regular driving, and it ain't leaking, what's the problem. Either fix it or leave it, why do you want to know how long you can drive on it? If you have run flATS THEN YOU CAN DRIVE ON IT A WHILE. (sorry for caps)

Just wanted to ask and wanted to try and ride it out until payday.....I got that problem fixed though..Thank goodness goodyear tires comes with 40,000 mile warranty..Didnt even know it...
