I think you're talking about Jon (INFEK). I think he ran another 13.0 last night. As him about his mods...he's a good guy & easy to talk to.

Launching a scoobie, as in any AWD car, is very difficult. Many factors will come to play such as your revs and your clutch rate, it takes practice to make perfect.

A year ago, my basically stock WRX with no mods has netted 15.9 on the automatic tranny.

Which were you? WRB?

Did you get chance to meet anyone? I spent the night in the stands, after about 9:00.

Howzit 808 Sti. I was the guy in the Aspen white rex... Not the super fast guy you saw on friday though. In fact, I saw a Aspen white Rex in the left lanes last night as well, but he split really early. I didn't hear what he was clocking. I thought it was Jon at first, but it wasn't. Some mystery racer, huh? Anyways, congrats on making it to the 14's. What was your 60' on that run?

Yep, this is Ryan. Sounds like once you nail your launch you can shave a little more off your E.T.. Practice makes perfect, I can only perform a good launch about 50% of the time.

I, live in Virginia but have son in the Marines stationed in Hawaii and he was on duty with someone who ownes a wrx with a vf30 turbo and TXS turbo back exhaust, so I thought I would check out this forum. Anyway, I have a 02WRX, took it to the track bone stock. My first two runs where in the low 15's, the third run I ran a 14.7. My reaction times I don't remember but they where terrible. I was happy with the 14.7 and know a better driver could have gone faster. I thought stock you would be able to run 14.5-14.2 if your good. Currently my engine performance mods are a TXS sealth back exhaust, Intake silencer removed, boost controler set at 16psi, and intercooler sprayer with micro switch so it comes on about 3/4 throttle. Have not ran it with these mods, what do you think I would run? Would the intercooler sprayer help at all in the 1/4?
