Was just messin. I love my car. I sold my '03 WRX I bought new and hunted down this coupe. If my bugeye had 2 doors though, I would have kept it because after the GM6/ OG Impreza, bugeyes rule (everyone knows this). I remember all that stuff when people started to not like the bugeyes and Subaru rushed out to make a more bland car (the '04 - '05) so more people would buy it. Looks like it worked since I see tons more than bugeyes.

Originally I had planned to have my car swapped before I shipped it here, but I had a lot of issues with a shop and ran out of time. Then I planned to do it here, and I would but no one will do the wiring part and I don't want to mess with it. The mechanics I can handle but pulling my dash and splicing tons of wires? Nah. Anyways now that I just paid $3.13/gal for gas I am thinking the better fuel economy will be better - my WRX got about 17-18mpg. I already drive way too fast without a turbie. Not too many places to scream it around here like there was in the Bay Area. So, I will just roll back the sunroof and cruise.

First I would need to find an engine, and I would want a tranny. Then I would need a clutch kit and such. After that, I seriously do not have any idea what to do with the wiring. If there were someone that sold a WRX-->GM6 harness or something, that would rock. Then all I would need would be tons of time to have my car torn apart.

In a couple years it might be doable because I prefer a 2.5 and since the new WRX has a 2.5, Forester, etc - they should start popping up more. Dunno, I like the torque and want to keep my 2.5 badge....

the wiring isnt that hard there is about 15 wires or so that you gotta splice the rest is just running the wires to the engine bay trust me its easy just take you time, plan it out and label everything
