HIIC challenge: 2011 Aloha United Way Campaign Take over

So Most of you guys know that My Boss Ted(Kolohe04STi) and myself had been taking care of the Charity Events for HiiC since 2005(??) wheb bpang1 from ALoha United Way passed the torch onto Ted and I. You all know of the 3 cruises for HIIC which is the Shrimp shack cruise, Aloha United Way Charity Cruise Gathering, and Toys for Tots. Due to alot of stacking on my plate per sei, I do not think I will be able to conduct the 2011 Aloha United Way Charity event this year!! So I've talked to my Director of Campaign for Aloha United Way and I informed her that I will be looking for someone to take over this year. I will do my best to be your liason in coordinating, contacting, and finalizing this years ALoha United Way Charity Campaign! I am not going to lie to you, this is a daunting task and you have to be flexible to meet with other parties, meet deadlines, and all the other good stuffs like the fact you are contributor to the society and doing your part as a citizen to give back to society.

If anyone is interestd and , please contact me via PM.

crickets....crickets........

wow, 102 reads and no interest? i would support walter on this since we have been organizing these cruises together for almost 5 years now. and i know he's been doing it before that. other than the 2 minor cruises, the HIIC Aloha United Way is the biggest and the one that requires the most work. we have involved alot of you guys here over the past years to help and last years was probably the best one we had!

in my opinion, these events make this community unique from the other car clubs. i'm sure we don't want to see this to end. unfortunately, i have way too many commitments and personal things going on to be able to help with this event any longer. i know the same goes with walter. that doesn't mean that we don't care about this community anymore. we just want some fresh talents to take the helm.

we will work with whoever volunteers to show you the tricks of the trade. it's really not much. all you need is some legwork and lots of dedication. here's your chance to serve your community, be a leader and feel good about yourself. this is not a challenge, it's a calling.

mahalo!

I don't think I could lead this alone (I know your not asking for that) but to whoever steps up to this, I'm willing to help you out.

Wow, that's much better guys! Dylan, Ryan, Josh and Shaggy, thank you for stepping up to the plate! i know you guys are out there but i was just pointing out the obvious before it's too late.

definitely this in NOT a one man show. so the more of you helping each other out, the better. someone needs to take the lead and call the shots, but that's up to you guys to nominate that person. if you guys want, we can set up a special meeting at a convenient time for everyone. i would say 1-2 hours at the most?

keep in mind that we already made the solid foundations on this event, thus making it so much easier for the successor(s). we have established sponsors, we have electronic files, and all other logistics for this event. but this is all up to you if you wanted these.

so let me and walter know so we can set up a date and time for a meeting. i know i'm pretty busy most of the time but i will try to find time for this since this event is very important to me.

To whomever is interested, Ted and I can set a date to meet up with any interested volunteers to explain what goes on behind the scene and on the scene on this event. I will have to talk to my boss on the meetup date.
