when i went to the aiea toys n joys at about noon, they only had 4 left after i bought 2 (one for me and a friend)...and the guy was on the phone with the kaimuki store, and they only had 12 left at that time...so probably both stores are sold out by now...

I picked up a copy of GT4 today at Toy-Rrific in Miliani and got my money back from Gamestop.
...and to me GT4 is really more like GT3.5, don't get me wrong...it's still cool as he11. Just feels like an update to GT3...that's all.
Now I'm off to play some more.

I skipped by uploading my licenses, so I started fresh.
Things I like: tires show blue, which means cold I guess, before they show green. Also, obviously the amount of cars and trax available.
Seems like the physics are better, but almost imperceptably.
Graphics suck on my 42" HDTV. It's laughably about as poor as when I hook-up my video camera in my car as bouncy and full of horizontal lines as the video I take on track days. I tried to get it do subscribe to the HDTV, but no go.
You get the distinct feeling that all of the aftermarket parts you can install are absolutely the same.
Sound is also imperceptably better. You can tell that they really tried to get engine sound to be better, judging by the Grand National, but it's still very obviously MIDI.

Yep, it really irritates me that parts for all the cars are exactly the same price. An exhaust for a civic for a k car should be hella cheap when compared to my EVO's exhaust. I have some more complaints too, but for now I am going to sleep. I think I am just going to take my wheel back, there is no need for it.

I expected to be sexually aroused the entire time I played.
picked mine up from Toys n Joys they had 40 copies left last night.....played all night loved it.... it is actually harder to drive....so when the tires go green that doesn't mean there getting worn out????? i only have the civic hatch right now.... i even woke up and hour early just to play some before i went to work...needed my fix for the day.....
