OMG if you need some fast cash and a few cool cars...
Do the Capri Rally on Easy and Normal & Tsukuba *wet* on Easy and Normal.
Both are easy in a mod'ed street car and they are both TARMAC rallys so you can use street tires.

1) The Mazda RX8 LM Race car
2) The Subaru Impreza Super Touring car
3) The Mazda 6 Touring car
4) The Toyota RSC Rally Raid car
5) ...and the BAD A$$....Option / JUN Stream 350Z!!!!! 808HP when you get it and you still have room to mod it.
Plus a minor mix of "lesser" cars.

I'm just now getting back from a conference, so I didn't see this sooner. Thanks for the tips.

OMFG! I just got to spend a good 5 hours on the game.
All the little inconsequentials really don't seem to matter. The physics of the game really is much better.
I'm about to start August and I'm only 5.1% complete.
I've got a page filled with cars, and some I've sold or given away.

Got my copy yesterday from Sam Goody. Can't believe I played for five hours this afternoon. Started with the "02 STi (white like mine of course) and I've just about got it adjusted right. Of the cars I've gotten so far, I really like the Impreza Touring Car. It has less horsepower than the STi, but it is that much quicker-it handles like it's on rails (you have to adjust it to your driving though). Can't wait to squeeze in some more playing time tomorrow.

Yeah, but I am going to spend some time trying to make some of my 136hp, 1970's era cars into screamers that ride on a rail.
