the mechanic at kaneohe subaru told me that it isnt that hard to steal subarus because the confiuration is not that different than a civic, its just a matter of time before they(f***king thieves) catch on. i suggest everyone get an auto lock.
oh ya, you should hope that your car would never be found again so you can get a nice check or another brand new STi. my brother's 99 integra gsr got stolen and when the cops found it, the car was missing the rims, doors, interior, and sounds. and since acura parts are so expensive the stupid insuance company bought used parts and installed them. and after getting the car back there was all kinds of engine problems.

Man, I'm sorry to hear about this. Watch out for your bikes too! 2 people on my boat have had their bikes stolen in the last 2 weeks!

I'm sorry to hear about it. Last year my s2k got stolen, and a few days later it showed up in kalihi stripped to the bone. I was pissed it got stolen...but at least the crooks had the decency to total the car...nothings worse then getting back a molested car, not knowing what possible things they could have done to it or in it.
