help needed

my car had a cel this morning and when i pulled the code it came up atmospheric pressure sensor output P1112

anyone know where that sensor is?

Before 06 it is by the boost control solenoid I believe.

It should be a black rectangle with a cylinder housing a sponge filter connected to it. 3 wire plug i think???

dealer. ohm the wires between the ecu and sensor first though. you cant return electronic parts

by any chance do you know which wires on the ecu side i neeed to test?

A wiring diagram and ecu pinout would help. I have them but it is a big pain to post them when they are readily available all over the internet.

If you clear the code, does it come right back within the first three times starting the car?

i found out it was my maf sensor was bad. i switched it with a friends one and the car had no problems starting. i used it for a day and had no issues. immediately after i changed the sensor back the car had starting problems again
