Headers

Is it okay to run aftermarket headers with a vf43 basemap? Sorry for the noob question.

Just wanted to see what other opinions are. I'll hold off on them. Gonna lift the 4Runner first.

I dont see why not. Once and if you got the downpipe and if you got a Cobb AP, run stage 2 to get better benefits.

The only downside is not reaping the benefits with a custom tune or map for the headers, but Id do it after you got a downpipe.

Risk of runing a little lean

You would get a lean wot from the headers on just a cobb tune u neeed to be tuned for headers and other parts such as bigger intercooler dont risk your motor for a little brapping around lol get a tune nuff said etunes work great or just contact my good friends at luxuryautohawaii for tuning needs

PDX will be here Friday/Sat/Sun. First time tunes are $300, recurrent tunes are $250. RAD charges $140 for dyno time.

If you are interested, I may have an opening on Saturday.

lmk.

I can't. I'm stationed in the mainland. I only go there for Christmas leave. So that's why I was wondering if they're good with tunes because of convenience.
