Times Coffee Shop in Kailua: Best fried rice I've ever tasted, and before you argue with me, remember I'm Chinese
Hee Hing on Kapahulu: Interesting local style take on Hong Kong style Chinese food. If that makes any sense LOL
Rainbow Drive-In on Kapahulu: a no-brainer. Always the first place I go directly from the airport when I get in town.
Parc Cafe at Parc Hotel Waikiki (just across the street from the Halekulani hotel): Hawai'ian buffet on Wednesday nights broke da mouf!
Grace's on Kapahulu and on King (is that right?): great mochiko chicken plates.
Gina's on Kapahulu (starting to see a trend? LOL): kick okole good Korean BBQ
Yanagi Sushi on Kapi'olani: excellent fresh sushi and great Japanese food.
Ezogiku (3 locations in Waikiki): tasty ramen, gyoza, omu rice, and more. hiyashi chuuka hits da spot here!
Ryan's at Ward Warehouse: get a taste of Pacific Rim cuisine here! Fusion of East and West at this local hangout. Good for pau hana drinks and pupus (AKA Happy Hour).
That's all I can think of for now... Edit when I come with more

Makino Chaya on King Street - Pretty damn big Japanese Buffet with all you can eat seafood and sushi!
Mr. Ojisan in Kapahulu in Kilohana Square - Get the Wafu Steak...you will NOT be disappointed.
I Love Country at Ala Moana Shopping Center - Great plate lunches that are made with fresh ingredients and you can get brown rice!
