does anyone know if it is easy to get a state i.d. i am going to oahu the last week of july for a week. i am planning to play golf at least 2 to 3 times but i know it is hella expensive. i don't want to pay 100-175 bucks a round. any suggestions for those you golf out there...thanks, jomel
hey what's up jomel. my car is a whole lot different from the last time you saw it at the autocross. it oversteers a lot more than when you drove it. anyway, have fun in hawaii.

hmm don't know how to get a state ID without either cards. don't think they just had them out to anyone without proof of living here or birth identification.

I went into the DMV, wrote down my address, took the test, and walked out 20 mnutes later with a new ID. Just go to any satellite city hall and give them an address where you are "living". Try Wahiawa. Lots of military up there so no questions. I wasn't trying to get in anywhere cheap, my old DL had expired.

just remember in some states dual licences are hard to get. like cali they take your old licence and punch a holel through it and log you in as their driver. i know washington is like that too to some extent but not as bad. my friends just came back and said they lost their licences and got a new one so they had both washington and hawaii. but cali won't issue since it goes into a registry or something like that.
I don't want a drivers license, ... and brento is right, You have to give up your current license in order to get a hawaii dl.
So, I just want a normal Hawaii ID card. One that I can get with proof of residency or something.
