Hawaii 4wd dyno?
Hawaii 4wd dyno?
Hi all,
I've been out of the loop for a while. I just upgraded my STi with a UTEC and was wondering if Oahu has a 4wd dyno yet and if there are any good tuners over there. No dyno and no tuners that I know of here in Maui so I will have to ship my ride over there. It would be cool to hook up with some of you to check out the Oahu scene.
Laters,
Keoni

One of my eventual goals is a turbo upgrade and a utec, Ryan at Vakamon seems to be the one to goto for that sort of thing, so definately talk to him.
Thanks for the replys guys. Some of the other forums leave you hanging or rip you one, great Aloha here!
For engine mods I am currently running 860cc inj., complete exhaust, sus intake, with the stock turbo since my Deadbolt turbo died due to a misshap. The car is running like junk, very rich and giving a CEL. The UTEC is set up with one map for the 860's. I am trying to figure out how to down load a run so I can e-mail it back to get the map altered until my SZ turbo gets back. I read the instructions and it doesn't seem to be working, I'm not too computer savy though. Just trying to find some one to walk me throught it. As for the Dyno it would be nice to safely and accurately tune it. Also leagally, since the only way to test it is on the road (big no no) . I reside in Kula, it would be awsome to have a meet here. I'd even be willing to go another island. It will be great once they get the ferry running if they ever do. Probably by that time we will all be driving 2020 WRX/STi's.
Thanks again ,
Keoni
