I've got the bolt size (14mm cause it's an EGT, not O2) I just need to know the threading. I'll be on the phone most of the morning to find someone who carries the plug. Wish me luck.

Aaargh! I went to Ron's and got a brass cap at 1/8 NPT and it was too big... So I called Exhaust Systems Hawaii ready to give up, and the guy on the phone was really helpful. He said to try different metric bolts to see if I could get one in. He said that 6 or 8mm should do the trick. Well, after trying the 6 and 8, I'm pretty sure it needs a 9 or 10mm, and I hope to God it's a 10mm because Lowes doesn't carry a 9mm. This is kinda fun, in a sick twisted sado-masochistic sorta way. Any hints, any one?

Well, I got a grade 8 metric 10mm and, just in case, a 3/8 too. No joy. They were both just a wee bit too big. So I made it fit. No more exhaust leak. Every few days when I find the car cold I'm going to tap that son of a ***** a little further in there. My ordeal is at an end (for now), and I will NEVER make this mistake again.
